APNU DENOUNCES PPP’S FACEBOOK ELECTION RESULTS

APNU DENOUNCES PPP’S FACEBOOK ELECTION RESULTS

A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) has communicated to the Chairman of the GuyanaElections Commission, Dr. Steve Suru
 j
bally, its concern that the PPP/C and its PresidentialCandidate are proclaiming on Mr. Donald Ramotar’s Facebook Page that the PPP/C has won theelections.  APNU expects the Guyana Elections Commission to address this violation of their expressed wish that no party or organization announce election results before the Commission makespublic the official count.  APNU views the proclamation of victory by the PPP/C as reckless and an incitement to publicdisorder.
