Hail storm hits Blueberry Hill in Linden

During a thunderstorm on Thursday, residents of Blueberry Hill in Linden heard sounds like stones hitting their roof tops.When they ran outside they found bits of ice some as big as tennis balls. One person claimed to have found pieces as big as footballs. What had happened was that hail was falling on Blueberry!  Some residents became so scared that they unplugged their electrical appliances and waited out the strange experience.The  electric company  shut down its service temporarily for safety reasons.  After an hour the hail stopped and it just rained.
