Carinlangs offers part time courses for the BA TESOL and MA TESOL at the AlphaMax educational complex -18-24 Stanvastastraat , Paramaribo, Suriname.

Carinlangs is a teaching institution based in Suriname. It will be conducting programs to  give students the opportunity to work world wide as teachers of English to speakers of other languages.

Carinlangs will have a resource team from several; countries including the US ( California & New York), Canada (Toronto & Brampton), UK,Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad,Guyana, Jamaica, and  the Bahamas.

Carinlangs will pioneer research work on TESOL .

Bachelor’s & Master’s Programs

THE TARGET GROUP

                In-service teachers with an MOA diploma

WHAT’S BEING OFFERED

                A capstone program to upgrade holders of the MOA diploma to the bachelor’s degree level in                  

                Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

                The capstone program will serve as a pre-requisite for a master’s degree program in TESOL.

DATES

                Bachelor’s TESOL – March 2014 to March 2015 [4 quarters – 2 semesters]

                                [Vacation periods in September and Christmas 2014]

                Master’s TESOL – starting in October 2015

LOCATION

                AlphaMax Academy, 18-24 Stanvastestraat, (Zorg-en-hoop), Paramaribo

REGISTRATION

                Limited Places – 35 candidates MAXIMUM

                Candidates must have already completed an MOA diploma

                Candidates MUST be in-service teachers in the Dutch or English education system in Suriname

                Candidates must be committed to pursuing the Master’s TESOL program which will commence

                in October 2015

                Candidates must submit a written “Personal Statement” (approximately 500 - 1000 words in

                English) addressing their interests and evaluating their commitment to the field of

                study, the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages
