The Caribbean Institute of Language Studies in association with the University of Amsterdam lecturer Mr Klass van der Laan began a four day workshop to prepare resource advisors for the Carinlangs program.
The workshop runs from today Tuesday to Friday.
It is being held at the AlphaMax educational Complex.
Carinlangs is a teaching institution based in Suriname. It will be conducting programs to give students the opportunity to work world wide as teachers of English to speakers of other languages.
Carinlangs will have a resource team from several; countries including the US ( California & New York), Canada (Toronto & Brampton), UK,Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad,Guyana, Jamaica, and the Bahamas.
Carinlangs will pioneer research work on TESOL in the Caribbean through its Journal, Newsletters and Professional organisation Carib-Tesol.
