50 STATEMENTS OF POLL REMOVED FROM DISTRICT 4 EAST BANK

50 statements of poll were removed by GECOM chief election officer Gocool Boodhoo from district 4 East
Bank Demerara. This is the same area where the PPP wanted a recount of the
votes.
EMPTY BALLOT BOX FOUND AT VREED EN HOOP 30th Nov 2011
An empty ballot box numbered 332233 was found at Vreed En
Hoop stelling this morning around 11 a.m. The find came after police had raided
the homes of several persons on the West Demerara looking for ballot boxes.
SECOND BALLOT BOX FOUND ON WEST BANK DEMERARA - 30TH NOV
2011
A second ballot box was found on the West Bank Demerara.
Earlier the first ballot box was found at Vreed En Hoop stelling. This comes
after police had searched the homes of known PPP supporters on the WEST DEMERARA.
